Public Contracts During the COVID-19 Pandemic
Making the goverment contracting process more transparent with open data
Back to Others
During November 2020 in Peru, a large sector of society raised its voice in protest in the streets against acts of corruption in the government. Thanks to them, the Peruvian economy and politics are heading towards a period of stability and transition to a new government in the bicentennial.
This situation motivated me to use my knowledge in data analysis to help improve the transparency of information in government processes. In recent years the government has made positive progress with regard to digitization. Although these advances are not yet sufficient, they have managed to facilitate access to open data. In this sense, the goal is to enable the exploration of government data for vigilant citizens.
